(Greg is talking to Allison about how the Pillbox editor and the copy manager used to fight a lot)
Greg: I don’t think you’ll have the same kind of fight that we had in 2006.
Anna: Oh the great copy fight of 2006.
Katie: Yeah, back when I was 15. I couldn’t even drive, Greg!
Daniel: I’m actually going to talk this time! She and… What was I going to say? I got so excited about talking.
Michael: Are people still reading? Done reading? Good. Good newspaper staff.
Michael: I have something from Courtney that I’m going to put up on the thingy thing.
Emily: Projector.
Michael: I don’t do words. I’m just the editor-in-chief.
(Michael is writing names on the projected screen to order the people that want to talk. Daniel’s turn comes.)
Daniel: I have nothing to add. Everyone already said everything. I just wanted to see my name up there.
Katie: I’m gonna crash your agreement party with another agreement.
Daniel: Comics is like the happiest section. A happy editor, a happy section…
Michael: Things fail but they don’t fail in ways that destroy anything. They fail and crawl away somewhere.
Emily: If you’re seeing and talking to your writer, it becomes more difficult to drop off the face of the planet or something. Multiple studies have shown that… or something.
Nicole: Things haven’t gotten that bad. We don’t have to get Anna killed to make a front page.
Madelyn: Not killed. Maimed.
